This is going to be an exciting year as we ask questions about our universe, biodiversity, our changing environment and technological advances throughout scientific history. We will focus on our state standards, AIMS testing and prepare students for the journey beyond Middle School. The goal is to broaden our understanding of the world in which we live, push students to reach beyond their norm and achieve more than they ever have in the past. SCIENCE IS INFINITE! |

HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN 7TH GRADE SCIENCE

COME TO CLASS PREPARED! You will need a pencil, paper and lots of enthusiasm.
BEHAVE! Any behavior that disrupts class will not be tolerated.
AND HAVE FUN!
GRADES AND GRADING! Grades are awarded on a point system, the more important assignments (lab projects and tests) being worth the most points. At the end of each quarter, I take the total number of points possible and divide them into the number of points students have earned (accumulated).
