Language Arts:
Parents, please make sure your child is completing all class work, by checking the homework calendar each week. There have been many students forgetting homework. This relevant work is essential to support what we do in the classroom. Please remind your child to be prepared. I appreciate all of your support!
2009-10 is also going to be the year of my National Board Candidacy. My goal is to become a Nationally Board Certified Teacher, and it is a rigorous process that takes most of an entire school year to complete. This year will be full of meaningful, authentic, learning. We will practice 21st Century skills, and spend lots of time reading, writing, listening and speaking.
