About the teacher...
|
Welcome to Wilson!!! This is my thirteenth year as a Special Education teacher. I have an undergraduate and graduate degree in Special Education. I have taught students with a variety of needs in Virginia, New Mexico, and overseas in a Dept. of Defense Dependents School. This is my sixth year teaching at Wilson and during that time, I have worn many different hats! I have taught both resource and self-contained classes, both full-time and part-time, and have also served as the Special Education Facilitator. I am currently working part-time as a Resource/Inclusion teacher. This is my favorite combination of both self-contained and resource students!!
My family includes my husband, Charlie, and my two children, Colin and Molly. In addition, we have a dog, a horse, two guinea pigs and a fish! There is never a dull moment in our house!! I feel very blessed that I get to work with your children, and that I get to come to school each day with mine!
