Traditional Math II -- QUIZ 1-2 Retake.
Due to the large number of students who failed Quiz 1-2 Order of Operations there will be an IN-CLASS retake on Wednesday, 20 August 2008.
Students were told about the retake on Monday. The retake score, higher or lower, will be the grade recorded in the gradebook. Students who earned 100% on the first quiz are excused from the retake. In the future, retakes of quizzes or tests will normally not be provided during regular math class time. Retakes will be conducted before school, after school, or during lunch period only via prior arrangements with Mr. Vaccaro. Click the Homework Policy tab on the left for more information.
REQUESTED SUPPLIES FOR MR. VACCARO'S MATH CLASSES
3-ring binder, one and one half inches or wider
(or a section in a larger binder just for math)
Lots of Number 2 pencils (regular or mechanical)
1 Eraser (the white kind are best)
1 Protractor (transparent are best)
Lots of Loose leaf paper for notes
There will be some changes this year in my web page design. I will try to limit this middle section to brief notices and reminders of key events. There will be tabs on the left that lead to more information on specific topics, such as: Accelerated Math for 6th Grade, Accelerated Math for 7th Grade,Traditional 7th Grade Math, homework assignments, procedures, requirements, etc.
