A Note from Ms. Leggett

| I am thrilled to be working at La Cima for my second year. I joined the staff last year after working twenty years for T.U.S.D. I am a special education resource teacher but I also hold standard elementary and secondary credentials. I am fully qualified to teach both social studies and science, the two resource classes I have at La Cima. In addition, I have a masters degree in reading and I include extra reading and writing instruction in all my clases. Every teacher at La Cima teaches a morning Reading class, and we create a nurturing and encouraging tone for our students to start off with everyday. There is a sense of "family" here at La Cima that brings out the best in our students. It is a wonderful place to teach..and I look forward to teaching your child. |
