| Reading |
Homework is offered to students who need additional practice with phonics and decoding. The first available homework begins with lesson 11 and is assigned as needed.These are simple black line single page worksheets that reinforce the daily lesson. |
| Science |
Science homework is assigned to enrich and expand the topic studied in class. Related reading worksheets are passed out each week for a total of 30-40 assignments per quarter. Students are expected to bring a folder or binder to class to safeguard the homework sheets. Late homework earns partial credit.

| Social Studies |
The social studies resource class completes one chapter per week in their textbook. Two workbook pages are assigned as classwork and an additonal two are to be done outside of class. While these may be taken home to be completed, most students find time in their seminar class to work on them. |
