A Message from Ms. Leggett

La Cima offers a school-wide reading program. Every teacher teaches SRA reading the first hour of school. One of the reasons I chose to work at La Cima was the total support given to the students in reading. Every student is tested and retested to ensure they are in the most appropriate reading class. We have all witnessed phenomenal growth in many of our students in just one year.
I have a Masters Degree in Reading and am state qualified as a Reading Specialist. Your child is in the best school with the best program and placed with a highly qualified reading teacher. Please have faith and patience- we will start slow and gain momentum. Expect the best- your child WILL make great gains this year. |
