A Note from Ms. Leggett

| This year the resource social studies class is studying American History and Government. Each year a new course will be offered so a student may stay in the resource room for three years and complete the full middle school social studies sequence. The class is modified so reading and writing are at the students performance, not grade, levels. New material is presented in all modalities and vocabulary is taught and reinforced. Students are in a small class and discussions, debates, and role-playing are frequent activities. |
