The Wonderful World of U.S. History

Welcome! State standards for the 7th grade cover the period in American History from the beginning of the Civil War up to and including the Great Depression; the development, function and structure of the Government; the impact of geography and economic factors; and the impact of developments outside the United States. AND we will have fun doing it!
We are continuing to work on the WIKI page. We will use it to review the time period from the time of the first European explorers to the beginning of the Civil War. Students have picked a subject and partners to develop the material, which will be presented to the class at a later date. The students will also take part in a ‘Blog’ on this page that will address issues in the fields of history and government.
These pages are private, and only those who are given access (administration, students and parents) can view them.
Please note that the due dates for their current event presentations have changed this quarter. Students will need to compete one every two weeks (Oct. 31, Nov. 14, Nov. 28 and Dec. 12).
