| 2nd Grade is the Best!
| | | Welcome to an exciting year of learning! In second grade we explore families, communities, and people around the world. We also study body systems, weather, and the life cycles of insects and mammals. We learn to add and subtract 2-digit and 3 digit numbers, count money, tell time and name fractions. We read lots of interesting fiction and non-fiction books. In fact, we do a lot of fun fiction and non-fiction writing too. Everyday it's a great place to be! |

| This is my 9th year of teaching 2nd graders at Wilson, and I love it! I have 4 great kids, 2 sons and 2 daughters. I also have two adorable granddaughters! I've lived in many different places around the country, but I like the desert in Tucson the best. One of the things I like to do is to travel. Reading and hiking are some of my other hobbies. I have 2 fish and a snake. You will get to meet them at school. |
