We have gone HI-TECH!! Yes, we are blogging! What is a blog, you ask? Blog is short for web-log. It is an online journal for our class to discuss many different topics. Once all the students are registered we can talk online back and forth from school or from home. It is safe because only our class has the password for our blog. I monitor our blog to make sure the students are being respectful and responsible. The students have been trained to use the site appropriately. They must use correct grammar and punctuation as well. Students may post a message to a topic I have entered, or they may reply to another students response.
We are not using the e-mail option and we will not be using the personal responses. All responses are published on our class blog! It is a fun way to get the students talking to me and to each other incorporating writing as well as technology!
