Third Grade Grading Scale |
In third grade students receive letter grades A through D. No F's are given. The following is the grading scale:
100%.........................A+
95-99%.......................A
90-94%.......................A-
86-89%.......................B+
85%..........................B
80-84%.......................B-
76-79%.......................C+
75%..........................C
70-74%.......................C-
69% and below................D
In my class, I require any grade below 80% to be corrected and returned for a better grade. Most graded work may be turned in for a better grade. I will average the initial score with the corrected score to improve the percentage in the grade book. Grades are determined through a combination of classroom observation, group participation and completion of assignments. |
