Nightly Reading Log

| Homework will be sent home nightly, Monday through Thursday. The homework will consist of the Math Homelink, a poem or song to read 3 times, Spelling practice, and 20 minutes of reading on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesdays, students will bring home their contract and work on the contract for 20-30 minutes, practice their spelling, and read for 20 minutes. There will be no homework on Friday or over the weekend. Fun Friday is awarded to those with complete homework, and good classroom behavior for the week. |

Third graders at Painted Sky are expected to read for 20 minutes nightly for at least 4 nights per week. The reading log needs to be filled out by the student and signed by the parent. Please make sure it is turned on the due date! |
