As with most things - any program like this is only as good as those who support it. Please check out the links below for our primary sponsors and supporters... |
| | | Oro Valley Bicycles | | Paul Carbone and his crew have been with us since day one with support for IMBA membership fees, Sprockids Curriculum, bicycle safety checks at events, discounts for our kids, and helping us get bikes and keep our current supply in working order! Support our local bike shop! |
| | | Sonoran Desert Mountain Bicyclists | | SDMB was instrumental in getting our 1.25 mile trail cut through raw desert with the help of networking, volunteers, and equipment. They continue to support us by being a voice for mountain biking in the Tucson area. Visit their web site for info on group rides, trail maps, and anything else mountain biking in Tucson! |
| | | International Mountain Bicycling Association | | At the national level, IMBA is where it's at. | | | | YOU can help by participating in the School Tax Credit Program by designating the Coronado K-8 Mountain Bike Club as your recipient! This is not your usual contribution, or a tax "deduction"! Your designation can be deducted dollar for dollar from your state tax return! We benefit, and you get back 100% when you file your taxes ($200 for individual, $400 for couples). Past contributions have allowed us to purchase 6 new Trek mountain bikes, bike repair stands, tools, Slime, and a variety of parts to repair bikes. This past year, we were able to replace the bikes that were stolen, and are putting obstacles into our trail. Every dollar helps! Thank you! (click the link above for more information on how you can participate!) |

| | MANDATORY LIABILITY WAIVER | | Mountain biking has inherent risks associated with the sport. While every effort is made to instruct and ensure safe riding habits, accidents may happen. All students are required to give a signed liability waiver to Mr. Rowe prior to riding a bike with the club. Students are required to wear an approved helmet at all times while riding. NO EXCEPTIONS! |
| |
| | We are currently the only school-sponsored mountain biking club in the Tucson area - if you know of another school that would like to start up a program, please don't hesitate to contact me! |
