What is Cornell Note-taking?
The Cornell Note-taking format has grown increasingly popular over the past several years, especially in collegiate circles. It is a very efficient and effective way for students to organize notes for lectures, text books, and research. The process reinforces skills such as summarizing, systhesis and analysis, and reviewing.

To the right is a link that will take you to an informational page from Cornell university that summarizes the process, and gives an example. The link will activate a "pdf" (Adobe Acrobat) file. Don't be alarmed at the level of notes used for the example - I approach the use at an introductory level, which can be developed over the course of this year and beyond.

Please feel free to talk to me more about this method of note taking!
