Who is Mrs. Ciurca?
|
This is my first year at Cross Middle School. I have taught for the past 8 years at Tucson Accelerated High School, Tanque Verde and Agua Caliente Elementary Schools, and Alta Vista High School. My passion is art. During college I had the unique opportunity to study art in Italy. That was my spring board for teaching art, it sealed the deal for me. No matter where I am in my life art will always play a role. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Art Education with Art History and Italian minors at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am highly qualified and appropriately certified to teach K-12 art. My certificate also includes the preliminary SEI endorsement.
Life outside of art is very exciting for me. I am married and have a 2 year old daughter. Things I love to do... travel (planning a cruise soon), baseball (my husband coaches), cooking (my husband has gained a lot of weight since we have been married) and play and laugh with my daughter. |
