+ Artifact evaluation/analysis
# Which race did you pick and what significance does it have for you? If it doesn't have personal significance, what influenced you to choose it? Why?
# So, looking at your artifact, what were the specific details (design element, text, pictures) you included? Why did you choose these and what impact were you thinking they would have on the viewer/reader? In other words, explain what you did and why you did it. Everything must be mentioned.
# So what is the strongest feature of your artifact (what are you most proud of) and what impact do you think it will have on your reader?
# So what was the reason we spent 3 weeks studying campaign artifacts and political cartoons? What important learnings did you take away from this unit? What conversations occured at home or other places as a result of your learnings?
# Now, what will influence your decision making in future elections (how will you decided who/what to vote for)? Why will this/these source(s) be so important to you?
* Is there one artifact at your table, not your own, that you would like to share with the class?

Take down tables
Arrange in three circles
Each person draws 5 chips without looking in the bag
Explain scoring system
Gold chips = 50 pts
Green chips = 25 pts
Red chips = 15 pts
White chips = 10 pts
Blue Chips = 5
Explain trading rules
Players must clasp hands to make a trade.
Only the best of 5 chips count.
Chips of unequal value must be traded once hands are clasped.
No trading or talking unless hands are clasped.
If arms are folded, you do not have to trade.
All chips are to be hidden at all times
If a trade cannot be made, the two players must continue to clasp hands for the rest of the trading session.
Conduct first trading session - 8 minutes
Participants record scores on board and then return to original seat
Participants divided into Squares, Circles and Triangles
0 - 100 = Triangles
105 - 200 = Circles
205 + = Squares
Conduct Second Round
Each participant gets 5 more chips (GE bag to Squares)
Same trading rules as round 1
Squares can make rules
circles and triangles can make suggestions for rules
suggestions must be submitted to the Squares in writing
squares can accept, modify or reject suggestions
squares announce new rules
Play 3rd round with new rules in place
Continue playing until rebellion by Circles and Triangles

Should the names of the Green group go on the "winner's wall"?
Idenify your color and how you ended up with that color.
How did it feel to be in your group and what contributed to those feelings?
In your experience, have you ever had these same feelings? Describe the situation.
From your perspective, were the green group's rules just or unjust?. Why do you think that? How did you feel?
In this game, the rich got richer and the poor got poorer. Is that the way it is in the real world? Is it easier for a person who has accumulated wealth to produce more wealth than a person who has not accumulated wealth? If this is the pattern of our society, can it be broken? Should it be broken?
Think of how the room was divided at the end of the period, in what ways might that represent our world today? Explain your answer.
