Homework Is Assigned Almost Daily!!!! |
| I will assign homework on a daily basis. There is a direct correlation between homework completed and test scores. Students who complete their homework, usually score very well on tests. On test days and SOME Fridays I will not assign homework. Homework is an essental part of your child's education. It helps to reinforce what has been taught in the classroom and move the information from short term memory to long term memory. This cannot be done so readily when work is only done at school. Please ensure your child completes the assigned homework each day. |
Homework Help |
Homework Help is offered Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 345pm-545pm. All La Cima students are registered for the program the day they register. This is a free service offered to all students.
Students must bring sufficient work for the 2 hour time period. Students are expected to be cooperative otherwise they will not be permitted to attend the program. A snack is provided at the 430pm break. Bus transportation is provided at the end of the program at 545pm. Parents are welcome to pickup students at the car drop off area. Parent volunteers are welcome to assist students.

If a Student is Absent... |
If a student is absent, he/she will have the same number of days absent to complete the homework (a district policy). It is the STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY to make up missing work.
