Several years ago(January 2006), we were fortunate enough to receive new Social Studies textbooks. This comprehensive textbook is entitled The American Journey (McGraw Hill/Glencoe) and is very informative in a variety of ways. Each student will be assigned a textbook to take home and keep at home...we have enough for a "class set." Students are to take care of the textbooks & return them at the end of the school year (or upon early withdrawal or transfer from Cross). You may view the textbook on-line by clicking on the link to the right (2005-2006 edition/2005 copyright date).
