Bienvenidos a la clase de Espaņol
We are off to a great start in the second quarter of. We will be building on and adding to previous vocabulary as well as learning some irregular verbs. I went to the U of A for both a Bachalor's degree in Latin American Studies with a major in History and minor in Spanish as well as a post-bach. Teachers' Certification in secondary education. I have traveled extensively in Mexico and Peru as well as many other Latin American Countries and Spain.

About this Fall in Spanish
We adhere closely to the curriculum from Amphi High. Students with A' and B's can go directly to Spanish II. To start the quarter, the students will have a review of how to conjugate AR ending verbs. We will go to the library to research countries where Spanish is the main language. Students will work in pairs to create a poster with text about the country. This is a great project to connect the students with Latin America and the Spanish language. We will then continue building vocabulay with nationalities and classroom items. That should keep us busy until the end of the year.
A final note; I send home grade print outs to be signed at least twice in a semester. Work can always be made up, if for a lesser grade than those turned in on time.
