About the Teacher
|
I thoroughly enjoy working with gifted students at Walker Elementary School and Keeling Elementary School. Previously, I have taught elementary students in California, Wisconsin and with the Department of Defense working in Germany. I hold a B.A. in Elementary Education and a M.Ed. in Educational Psychology - both from the University of Arizona.
My diverse real-world career and travel experiences accompany me to the classroom. For many years I worked in the automobile industry and the timeshare industry in northern California and I have owned a bed and breakfast in Tucson. One of my great joys is travel and I continue to explore this grand world whenever possible.
The students at Walker and Keeling Elementary Schools are delightful and keep me on my toes with their insightful comments and questions. I truly believe that there are no limits for our students and encourage them to reach for their dreams and never stop learning.
