Meet Ms. Kelley
|
I am very excited to return to Amphi High, where I began my career in 1986 as a long-term substitute teacher. Since then I've taught at Canyon del Oro High School and Coronado K - 8.
My degree is in earth science, and before I became a teacher my jobs included surveying and exploration in northern Michigan, drilling in northern Ontario, and mill operations and metallurgical research at Ruttan Mine in northern Manitoba. All those 'northerns' were awfully cold for someone who grew up in the southwest, so I gradually made my way back to warmer climes.
I have three cats,a classroom fish named Fluffy Bunny, and two sons. Trevor is b a manufacturing engineer for Boeing in Everett, Washington, and Nate is a football-playing sophomore at CDO.
