Knowing our kids to meet their needs!
Hi! My name is Kristin McGraw-Cox and it has been my pleasure to be teaching exceptional learners in grades K-5 at Prince Elementary for the past seven years. I am also happy to continue serving as the special education facilitator for Prince.

A little about me:
I am married and have one incredible daughter who will be four years old in May. She goes to preschool now and loves to play, dance and is a big helper. My husband is a music teacher and has a steel drum band. We enjoy spending time together with our family and friends, hiking, music and going to Laguna Beach in the summer.

My education:
I received my Bachelors of education in elementary and special education from Northern Arizona University in December of 2001. I received my Masters in special education in 2006 and early childhood education through Northern Arizona University distance programs in 2007. I also have my SEI endorsement and reading endorsement. I am a lifelong learner and feel in order to provide my best for students I need to stay current in education.

My Team’s philosophy:
The special education team’s mission is driven by children's needs, in partnership with parents, staff and the community to ensure that all of our children will achieve their academic and personal best through a curriculum dedicated to excellence. I am excited to go into classrooms and team teach for students as well as providing one to one and small group pull out sessions in order to challenge students and meet their needs.

Prince is a joyful and wonderful place to learn and grow and I look forward to working with you and your child this year! Please feel free to contact me anytime through the link below.

Educationally Yours,
Kristin McGraw-Cox
