Beginning Band students will start in the program by learining to assemble, hold, and produce sound on the instruments. We will progress to reading and playing music, and in December we will entertain you with our first performance! Students will have an opportunity to perform at the District Honor Band Festival, and in May also.
Advanced Band students will continue building on their first year's experience as they learn to read and play full band arrangements. The advanced band students will be performing in December, at the District Honor Band Festival, and at the end-of-the year concert in May.
Concert dates and times will be posted on the school calenders, and I will sent a written notice home with students, also.
The key to success in Band is attendance and practice! Be sure to attend each class, and practice at home, regularly!
