Testing for placement in the 2010-2011 school year is still in progress. Results will be mailed home within 6 weeks of completion of testing. The next testing will take place in February 2011.
What is REACH?
REACH is Amphitheater district's name for gifted services. To be identified for gifted services, a student must score in the 97th percentile or higher on at least one area of an ability test.
The test we use covers three areas of reasoning:
Verbal
Non-verbal
Quantitative
Students scoring in the 97th percentile or above in at least one area are designated Gifted, and receive REACH services as long as they remain enrolled in an Amphitheater school.
