Tax Credit Information 2007-2008 It's Never Too Early...
It's not too early to start thinking about your Arizona School Tax Credit contribution for the year 2007. You can start making contributions to your Year 2007 Arizona School Tax Credit at any time and you're correct that today is not too soon! For you to be eligible to receive the credit for 2007, schools must receive your donation by the end of the year in December. Contributions may be made in increments throughout the year, or as a lump sum up to $200 ($400 for married couples filing a joint return). Use the convenient form online by clicking on the "tax credit" link below to send your contribution(s) today. Forms for the 2007 contribution(s) must be post-marked no later than December 31, 2007 in order to be processed. If you want the money to go to the REACH classroom, you MUST indicate that on the form. Another way you can make sure that the REACH classroom gets the money to spend is to turn it in at Copper Creek and ask Sharon Bender to make sure the form is correctly filled out.
Remember, the Arizona School Tax Credit is a Genuine "Two-fer." If you contribute to the Arizona School Tax Credit, that money might also be a "Tax Deduction" on your Federal Income Tax form. See your tax advisor or refer to Arizona Law (A.R.S. 43-1089.01) for additional details.
