Whiz Kid's Wonderful News
Welcome to the home of the Whiz Kids. We are going to have an exciting and fun year!

Welcome to our World.
I graduated with a BA in Social Sciences at Cal-State University of Long Beach long ago. Early in my teaching career, I left for a year and flew as a stewardess for TWA. I traveled across the USA and Europe, and came back ready to teach again and share what I had learned abroad. After 10 years in Huntington Beach, I married Rob and moved to Big Bear Lake, CA. He is an accomplished Dixieland Banjo player, and we started performing as a duo for fun. We sang in Palm Springs each winter, then performed on the Casino Circuit in the Nevada. We played in Alaska, the Western states, and even the Sheraton Ala Moana in Wakiki, Hawaii! This lasted four years and the extensive traveling was truly educational. Then, we returned to Big Bear where I taught third grade for 12 years. After a 6.6 earthquake went down our street in 1992, Rob and I moved to safe and beautiful Tucson. I taught at Coronado K-8 for 2 years and have been at Wilson since it opened 12 years ago.
My philosophy is to teach and share my life experiences through using creative and innovative techniques.
