Performing organizations |
| We have three instrumental performing organizations: Advanced Orchestra, Intermediate Orchestra and the Advanced Guitar class. We rehearse every school day to improve our ensemble skills and overall sound. Your student practices at home each day to improve his or her individual playing skills. Each practice and rehearsal is important if the group is to achieve it's goal of performing the material accurately in every way by the performance date. Following are the dates for performances by each of our performing organizations. I will update the list as information comes available. In addition, Musical Theater is a year long class. The first semester is an introduction to Musical Theater including history, terminology and basic acting, staging, and singing & choreography skills. The second semester is the production of a musical theater production. This year's production is "Alice In Wonderland, Jr." We also have a Tri-M group comprised of band, orchestra, choir and musical theater students. This is a national music honor society. It meets most Wednesdays from 1:30 until 3:30. |
