I was born and raised in a small town in Central Iowa. I am the older of two children and most of my family still lives in Iowa. Before moving to Tucson I worked as an educational assistant in kindergarten and first grades and taught at a private preschool in Iowa. In 2003 I moved to Tucson and started teaching in the Amphitheater School District.

In my spare time I love to play with Barkley & Linus, make beaded jewelry, play games with family & friends, and most of all I LOVE to travel. Mr. Hochuli and I love to go anywhere that is sunny and warm with water so we can go swimming. |

| I received a degree in Elementary Education with a Reading Endorsement from Buena Vista University in Iowa. Since moving to Tucson I have earned endorsements in both Early Childhood Education and Sheltered English Immersion. |

I have worked in the Amphitheater District since 2003 and have taught Full-day Kindergarten for 6 years. |
