Classroom Community

| As a teacher, my objective is to create a COMMUNITY within each of my classes where each student feels safe and comfortable enough to take risks while learning. Utilizing a "multiple intelligence" approach, I want students to be motivated for success, explore different ideas and be challenged by new course work all while following the Amphitheater curriculum that aligns with the Arizona State Standards on Social Studies. The responsibility lies with each student to contribute to this type of learning environment. Experimenting with new concepts, maintaining a positive attitude, showing respect, arriving in class with appropriate tools and being prepared to work will make for a very productive and successful year. |
