Warrick Rules (P.R.O.D. – Proding you to succeed!)

  1. Prepared - Be on time, bring materials, do homework, study for tests
  2. Respect


    • Keep your hands to yourself

    • Use kind words

    • Use materials properly


  3. On-task


    • Listen when it is your teacher's or classmate's turn to talk

    • Follow directions and stay on task


  4. Directions - Follow directions the first time they are given.

Citizenship


  • Respectful
  • Involved in classroom activity
  • Cooperates in group work/with teacher

Consequences for breaking rules (Any of the following could happen to you in no particular order.)


  • Receive a verbal warning.
  • Receive a parent phone call.
  • Write a letter of apology to a classmate or your teacher.
  • Write 25, 50, 75, 100 sentences concerning your behavior.
  • Sit in a new seat or temporarily in a different classroom.
  • Behavior contracts.
  • Severe disruptions could result in a trip to the office with a referral.


Consequences for breaking work habits or citizenship


  • First offence – Warning and parents may be called depending on the offence.
  • Second offence – Parent called and an “S” appears on your report card
  • Third offence – Parents called and an “N” appears on your report card
  • Forth and beyond – Parents called and a “U” appears on your report card.
    (Note: an “N” or a “U” can keep you out of sports and other activities)
