About the teacher

I am a graduate of the University of Arizona and I have been teaching in the Amphitheater School District music program since 1988. I have had the privilege of teaching in every school in this district. I am very proud to have found my permanent home with the Rio Vista family. Teaching music is my life long passion and I do hope that my enthusiasm for my subject area is contagious. Catch the music bug!
HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS CLASS
1. Attend class! We meet together once a week for 50 minutes.
Learn your schedule and make certain to be in school on music days!
2. Complete assigned homework. We will have small homework assignments in
3 – 5 grades.
3. Sing, Play, and Move with the music
4. Treat yourself and others with respect
5. Wear a smile!!
