| | REACH | | Welcome to Cross's REACH Humanities classes. Students will be exposed to the same content areas that are in the regular Social Studies classes but in addition to the history and geography of our nation, they will be exposed to the arts, technology, sciences, math and literature of the time period they are studying.They will be involved in alot of creative problem solving projects with originality and higher levels of thinking being emphasized. This is a hands-on project based class! |

| Here is a little information on my background. I graduated from the U.of A. with honors. I was #5 on the U. of A. tennis team. I continued with masters work in the Learning Disabilities area, received my Reading Specialist Endorsement and a Gifted Endorsement. I have taught for 25 years from K-8th grade. I mentored new teachers in our district for two years as a Career Ladder Facilitator. I have a wonderful husband and two grown children and one grandson! I have two cats whose names are Rascal and Cleo. I am an aspiring artist and have donated over 7 paintings to local charities for their auctions. I am on the Juvenile Diabetes Board and help with Tu Nudito functions as well as other charity functions. I love to garden, swim, knit, paint, and read. Most importantly, I love teaching kids!!! |
