Please use this website throughout the year to moniter current assignments and other out-of-class responsibilities for 8th grade English, Spanish 1, and Introduction to Spanish for 7th graders. Updates for all classes will appear right here on this page. You may also check grades which are updated continually throughout each quarter.
ENGLISH
*Monday, May 5--Book sharing/oral presentation due. See direction sheet.
*Tuesday, May 6--Children's Book Due
*Wednesday, May 7--Begin reading Steinbeck's The Pearl. Over the next two weeks,all reading and assignments will be completed in class for this 6-chapter novel. There are no other out-of-class responsibilities!
SPANISH 1
*Friday, May 2--Final exam--verb portion only. See handout.
*Wed and Thurs., May 7 and 8--Final exam
*Week of May 12-16--Final essay and final dialog written and prepared IN CLASS ONLY. There are no other out-of-class responsibilities!
7th GRADE SPANISH
*Thursday, May 8--Exchange student research project due. Please see students' handout of directions.
*Week of May 12-16--"Things around the house" unit completed in class.
GENERAL CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS
1. Show polite, respectful and appropriate classroom conduct.
2. Bring needed supplies every day: loose leaf paper, blue/black pen, pencil, and current reading book (English classes only).
3. Turn in all assignments by the due date.
