The purpose of this grant is to provide teachers with ways to integrate technology into their curricula to develop ways to use technology to its greatest potential for student achievement. This group of participants will be involved in staff development and lesson planning and creation that incorporates higher-level thinking, problem-based learning, and authentic assessment with the state standards and using the NWEA (MAP) Learning Continuum and technology to enhance learning.

Integrated Curriculum Collaborative Requirements

  • This year’s participants will be expected to attend all scheduled classes for a total of 40 hours.
  • Create three lesson plans using the District’s assessments that incorporate higher level thinking skills, differentiated instruction, problem-based learning, authentic assessment, the State and National Standards and completion of an instructional growth plan.
  • Attendance at the AzTEA Conference at Tucson High School on January 29, 2005.
  • Two Net Buddy Nights.
