We will be looking at three specific areas:- 4 2 Explore - thematic topics with links and vocabulary
- NatureScapes - information written at three varying levels for differentiating of reading abilities
- Literature Ladders - information and ideas for integrating literature into your curriculum

Launch Page Creation Work Time

You will have time to work on your second launch page. Remember to include:
a brief description
1-2 technology standards that your lesson focuses on.
Remember that the emphasis of our grant is on reading so try and create a launch page that concentrates on reading.
Desktop Publishing Tips- Avoid Typewriter mentality
- Make things stand out by using bold, larger font size, or color - not underline or all capital letters
- Use Proportional Fonts
- Use Sans Serif Fonts for Titles and Headlines
- Use Serif Fonts for text
- Don't use more than 2 different fonts
- Add Color Wisely - it should be meaningful
