Soldier X by Don Wulffson
Review by Brianna Bain

The main character Eric finds himself at the battle lines of WWII. He falls in love with a young Russian nurse taking care of him in a Russian hospital. Eric was German/Russian. He started out as a German soldier and gets injured on the battle lined. Then he had to disguise himself as a Russian so they wouldn’t kill him because they were killing any German soldier that survived. He stays at a hospital as a patient and as a staff member. After that the Germans started attacking the Russians so Eric, the Russian nurse, and other staff members from the hospital had to run.

Soldier Boys by Dean Hughes
Review by Garrett Flack

This book is an action packed book that will keep
you on the edge of your seat. Soldier Boys is the story of two young soldiers fighting in WW2. The two main characters are Dieter a German soldier and Spence an American clash on the battle field for a epic battle of determination, courage, will and generosity .Dieter is wounded and crying for help when Spence goes out to help him and something terrible happens. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in both sides of WW2 and what when through the minds of the young men.
