About Mrs. Green
|
I am originally from Milwaukee, WI, home of Lake Michigan, cheese, and Green Bay Packer fans! I graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN, and my Master of Education in Early Childhood Education is from Northern Arizona University. Shortly after completion of my undergraduate study, I moved to Tucson. I met my husband, who is also a teacher, here in Tucson. We have two wonderful children...Gracie, age 5, and Daniel, age 3. In my free time I enjoy watching Green Bay Packer football, reading, camping, crochet, scrapbooking, and spending time with my family. I have been teaching in the Amphi district since 1999, and 2007-08 was my first year here at Painted Sky. Since coming to Painted Sky, I have been impressed by the parent and community support that helps to make this an excelling school. I am proud to be part of the Painted Sky community.
The storybook parade is coming! Start thinking of a character from a book that you would like to dress up as. Remember, you must bring the book with you for the parade!
Please check the school website for the Thunderbird Express (PTO newsletter) and the Skywriter (school newsletter).
There have been quite a few cases of children being sent home sick from school recently. Please make sure that if your child is sick, he/she is staying at home. Children must be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school. Also, children must stay home a full 24 hours after vomiting or diarrhea. Your cooperation helps us prevent the spread of germs and keeps us healthier! Thanks! |
