Special Ed. English 11, Communications and Decisions and Study Skills

Here are a few things to remember when viewing grades:
1. The 2 quarters are combined for an overall semester grade.
2. Students may not turn in late work once progress reports/report cards are sent out.
3. Your student should have a hard copy of their grade. If they have a "D or F" I will accept the report, SIGNED BY A PARENT, for extra-credit. |

What's going on this year????
|
This year in English we will be reading Bless Me Ultima, and Raisin in the Sun. We will also be working on several different short story selections. Writing will be a BIG part of our curriculum, along with the push to pass those AIMS.
In Communications and Decisions, we will be presenting and discussing quite a bit in class. Attendance will be an important part of a successful grade.
Study Skills is going great. Please make sure your student has a planner to use. I would recommend periodical checks of your students planner.
