Welcome to Ms. Cameron's 6th Grade Math Class
Welcome to 6th grade Resource Math for the school year 2007/2008. I am so happy to have this opportunity to work with you this year.I have been teaching at Wilson K-8 in the Resource program in the middle school for 8 years. I truly enjoy my job and the people I work with. I would like to work closely with parents as well as students. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN CLASS:
1. Students should come prepared with materials and homework.
2. Be ready to listen and learn.
3. Participate in their learning each day.

We are currently reviewing Chapter 4 for the test on Friday. The chapter covers multiplication of decimals, division of decimals, perimeter, area, and the metric system. Please encourage your child to go to the Glencoe website and complete the practice test for Chapter 4. They can print it out after they have completed it and get extra credit. We will begin Chapter 5 which will cover the divisibility rules, prime factorization, fractions,least common multiple/denomeinator, & greatest common factor.
