Book Guy Classroom Procedures
1. Homework is due at the BEGINNING of class.
2. Students must sit in their assigned seat.
3. Students will work silently on their Jump Start
(bellwork) the first 5-10 minutes of class. Jump Starts
will be turned in, for a grade, every 2 weeks. Keep
them in your notebooks and you must get them when you
are absent.
Mean_Teacher Attendance
If a student is absent, it is THEIR responsibility to get the work that was missed. The homework hotline can be called (remember only homework is listed on the hotline, not class work), check the Activity/Homework Calendar in class, check the calendar/homework link on the website, or call a friend.

Tardy: Will be marked on your Behavior Card.
Back Pack Homework
Homework is due on the assigned date. It is to be turned into the appropriate basket at the beginning of class. LATE WORK IS ONLY ACCEPTED UNTIL THE END OF THE UNIT AND WILL BE MARKED DOWN 50%. You will receive two assignment passes at the beginning of each quarter. These passes are the ONLY way to turn in late homework/class work for full credit - I will grade the assignment as if it had been turned in on time. Staple your pass to your homework and turn it inot the basket - by the end of the unit. Passes may only be used on homework assignments or class work. You may not use them on projects. You only have two, so...USE YOUR PASSES WISELY!!
Desk Tests
There is absolutely NO TALKING during a test period until ALL test are collected. If talking occurs at any time the test score will result in a ZERO. The same applies if you are texting duing a test.
Apple with Pencil Grading
Grades will be given on a total point basis (total points accumulated out of the total points possible). The scale of grading is as follows:
A = 90 - 100%
B = 80 - 89%
C = 70 - 79%
D = 60 - 69%
F = 0 - 59%
