| | Email Miss Keating | | Welcome to Miss Keating's kindergarten class where we will have a year filled with exciting themes to help us learn! Our class will be involved in lots of hands on activities to help us learn the many skills needed for our success in school. Students will be learning letter names and sounds, shapes and colors, 37 sight words, numbers, reading skills, social interactions and much, much more. This is a very important year for students because kindergarten is the foundation in which students build their entire school career. |

Class Expectations
|
School starts at 8:30 a.m. and students are expected to be seated and ready to learn at this time. Each student will be issued a Monday folder which contains homework and completed class work. Student s have until Friday to complete their homework and return Monday folders. Students will also receive Friday notes which are a brief description of your child’s behavior throughout the week. Your child’s behavior is based on my three simple classroom rules which are:
1. Do your kindergarten jobs.
2. Work and play nicely with others.
3. Be a good listener during teacher talk time.
