About Seņora McCann...
|
This is my 13th year at CDO. I have taught every level of Spanish at CDO, and I know what it takes for students to be successful when learning Spanish. My standards are high for both my students and myself. I take a very positive approach to teaching. I enjoy what I do and my goal is for students to enjoy learning Spanish and the rich diversity, history, and culture of the Spanish-speaking world.
On a personal note, I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Master's in Language Reading and Culture and a BA in Secondary Education with a major in Spanish and minor in English and Bilingual Education. I love teaching Spanish. Speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension are all crucial elements when learning another language.
I am a native Tucsonan. I grew up speaking both English and Spanish and enjoying visiting my family in both Spain and Mexico. I love to travel and spend time with family and friends. |
