Dear Parents,
I can’t believe it’s already Thanksgiving Break! This year is going by so quickly. I hope you all enjoy the time with friends and family. Your student has a special personal narrative to share during the holiday.
READING: The students are really enjoying Hatchet. Tomorrow there will be a quiz over Section 2 (Chapters 5-8) and the vocabulary for Section 2 is due.
Ask you student about the animal Brian encounters in Section 2.
MATH: The test for Unit 5 is this Wednesday. Students received the study guide today. I encourage students to use their SRB’s, math journals, and workbooks to study.
SPELLING: There will not be a packet this week.
SCIENCE: The test over mixtures and solutions was postponed until this Wednesday. Students took notes in their science journals today to help with studying.
REMINDERS:
DUE DECEMBER 1st: November Book Reports, Reading Calendars, and Math Calendars.
