My name is Sandy Schiffman and I am very glad to be your child's fourth grade teacher this year. I've been teaching at Keeling Elementary School since 1998 when I moved to Tucson. I've lived in many places around the United States and the world including Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Phillippines, and Israel. While living in Washington, D.C., I received my Masters of Education degree from George Washington University. In 2007, after having taught for 10 years, I worked for and received my National Board Certification (NBCT).
Our classroom is lucky to be connected to both George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. We are working towards our goals of reaching a college degree in the future.

Hood College is a super place to go to school! It is located on a great campus in Frederick, Maryland. Our friend, Steve, is emailing us weekly and telling us all about his life as a senior at Hood College. How cool is that?
