You’re invited…

To attend a Parent Night with representatives from the Center for Talented Youth (CTY) from Johns Hopkins University. This information night will be held in the CDO Lecture Hall on Wednesday, September 16th, 6-7 PM.

CTY is a talent search for highly gifted students in grades 2-8 who may benefit from the testing, programs, and services offered through Johns Hopkins University. Students need a score at the 95th percentile or above on particular tests in order to apply to CTY. For information about your child’s scores, contact the REACH Teacher/Gifted Specialist at your school.

Are you interested in learning more about how the REACH program identifies gifted students? Plan to attend our meeting, "Identification of Gifted Students" on Wednesday, January 13th, 6-7 PM in the CDO Lecture Hall. This program is designed primarily for parents of students who have been referred for gifted testing.

After our testing is completed in April, we would like to invite parents of identified gifted students to a meeting to learn more about our program. "My Child is Gifted, Now What?" will be held Wednesday, April 28th, 6-7 PM in the CDO Lecture Hall.

For Parents of Identified Gifted Students: Cymry DeBoucher, CDO REACH teacher, will present "Gifted Intensity/Gifted Underachiever" on Wednesday, January 27th, 6-8 PM in the CDO Lecture Hall.
