REACH Gifted Endorsement Tuition Assistance Program
Amphitheater teachers who are interested in a Gifted Specialist position may be eligible for tuition assistance to help obtain the full gifted endorsement. Teachers can apply for this program if they:

* have at least 5 years teaching experience

* hold a continuing contract in Amphi Schools

* are willing to commit to a REACH position for 3 or more years after they obtain the full gifted endorsement

The process for applying for the tuition assistance is as follows:

* complete an application and submit it to Human Resources
* submit 3 letters of reference with the application
* after the application is reviewed, you may be contacted to 1) schedule an observation by a REACH Department Co-Chair, 2) arrange an interview.

Teachers who are accepted for the program will be contacted to sign a contract. The contract states that they:
* have 2 years to complete the requirements for the full gifted endorsement
* must accept a REACH position if offered, or they will have to pay back tuition assistance

Note: Teachers who have the full gifted endorsement and are hired to work as a gifted specialist in Amphitheater Schools are eligible for a $4000 Hard to Fill Stipend.
