Welcome to Mrs. Cluff's Class!
We will be working hard on our reading and writing using the Arizona State Standards.

About Mrs. Cluff
I am a graduate of Northern Arizona University. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, a Master's Degree in Counseling, and a Special Education certification at the Masters level. I have also have a certification in English.

I am married with four children of my own. I believe that being a parent has made me a better teacher. Because half my children are around the same age as my students, I get a double dose of teens on a daily basis.

I believe reading and writing go hand-in-hand, and the more different types of literature our students are exposed to and required to read, the better. I am also an advocate of homework. Lots of positive reinforcement is invaluable.

Each and every one of the students who enter my room will have the opportunity to learn new things and share their background knowledge and ideas. Each student will be seen as an individual with different contributions and skills.
