| | Second Quarter Information
This second quarter will consist of an extensive poetry unit. A packet explaining the requirements has already been sent home. We will focus on poetry concepts, sounds of poetry, traditional and inventive poetry types, as well as poetry presentations. In reading the emphasis will be on the fantasy genre. A creative book report will be due on November 23.We will continue with our daily writing program and fine tuning the Six Traits. Roots will also continue on Tuesdays this quarter instead of Wednesday.

About the Teacher

I have been teaching resource at Wilson for the past 9 years. My husband is a teacher in the district as well and the new head football coach at Catalina Foothills High School. We have a very busy household with our three children, three dogs,and a bearded dragon.
