About Mr. Holaday

| Welcome 7th grade. Ms. Benson is with us for the semester, bringing her own style, talents, and exciting art lesson ideas. We will learn the language of art: Line, texture, shape, color, contrast, form,to name a few. Get ready for a semester of discovery as we read, write, and create works of art. We will create projects in clay, draw, explore famous works of art,and learn all about color. I believe all students can have fun and learn a lot in art. Challenging students to improve their artistic abilities and helping them challenge themselves is what makes my job so great! |

I love to learn about and teach art! I have a Bachelors degree in art with an emphasis in art history, and a Masters degree in art education. I enjoy reading, art history, history in general, hiking, eating mexican and Thai food,and painting. I love to travel and visit museums where I learn about other cultures, and new ways of creating art. This past summer I had the opportunity to visit Holland and Paris, wow lots of great art and ideas I have from that trip! I also went to Guatamala and contiued my Spanish lessons, yes Mr. Holaday likes to learn! My favorite shows are CSI and the Simpsons. |
